The proposed project Erasmus+ program in precision farming

On the 16th of November, 2016 Dr.Ing.Arnold Sterenharz, Managing Director of Engineering consulting and management for space technologies (Germany) has met with S.V.Mogilnyy, the Deputy Chairman for the Strategic Planning, Science and International Relations as well as with representatives of the Technical, Land Use Planning and Agronomy Faculties of S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University.

The purpose of the visit - to discuss the participation of the team of S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University in the competition of the new project by EU Erasmus + program on precision farming jointly with the Berlin Technical University, Germany.

Summary of the project: an interdisciplinary approach in the development of new modules for training specialists of precision farming, application of GIS technology equipments in the pilot area of ​​the campus. After the meeting, the parties discussed and decided to establish a working group on completing the project application.
