Expanding cooperation with US universities

On July 3, 2019, in the framework of the official visit of delegation from Texas A&M University to the Republic of Kazakhstan on the creation of export multi-protein roadmap of Kazakhstan for 2019–2044, the US delegation visited S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University (hereinafter - KATU).

         The delegation headed by International Training Coordinator Dr. George Michael Mc Whorter was accompanied by Vice-Minister of Agriculture G. Isayeva. and Managing Director of KUSTO GROUP M. Yuldashev.

         Vice-Rector for International Relations S.Mogilnyy received the delegation and introduced with the history of formation and achievements of the university. During the visit, the delegation visited the Research platform of agricultural biotechnology, Workshop for metalworking and welding, Kazakhstan-German Precision Farming Center, Kazakhstan-Belarus Center for the training and retraining of engineering personnel, Experimental Production Shop of Meat and Dairy Products, Experimental Production Shop of oilseeds' processing, Mini bakery, GIS technology center, as well as met with the deans and doctoral students of KATU.

         In turn, the delegation commended the development and achievements of KATU and expressed its intention to establish and expand mutually beneficial cooperation between universities.

         This kind of meetings are an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing and develop new areas of cooperation between universities and research centers of Kazakhstan and the United States.
