In the period from 9 to 11 September, 2019, as part of the PTF program of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Transfer and adaptation of innovative technologies for optimizing the production processes in dairy farms of Northern Kazakhstan», the Head of Science and innovation of Federal Research and Education Center, Raumberg-Gumpenstein, Austria and the author of bolus development Dr. Johann Gasteiner visited S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.
During the visit, a seminar for the research group of the Program on the use of the SMAXTEC system in dairy cattle breeding was held. In addition, a trip to the pilot farm Mambetov and Company LP was carried out, where the foreign scientist got acquainted with the activities of farms and the operation of the SMAXTEC system.
As a result of the meetings, an agreement was reached to conduct joint scientific research using the SMAXTEC system and publish joint scientific article.
Agricultural Research and Education Centre Raumberg-Gumpenstein is the largest federal institute of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management and driving-force for sustainable economizing in the region. It has about 330 employees and comprises four research institutes: Livestock Research; Plant Production and Cultural Landscape; Animal Husbandry and Animal Health, Organic Farming and Farm Animal Biodiversity.
